이장소는 공연장으로 오픈을 해서 한켠으로는 연극이나 무대공연 공간으로 활용되어지고, 나머지 반의 공간에는 레즈비언들의 드랙쇼나 벌어지는 장소이다. 그래서 레즈비언들의 댄스나 드랙쇼..드랙쇼중에는 마지막부분에 거의가 다 벗어버리는.....그런 화끈하게 노는 레즈비언들의 장소이다.

 

이장소는 웰레슬리 전철역보다는 칼리지 전철역이 가깝고 칼리지역에서 북쪽으로 두블럭 올라가면 동쪽으로 자리하고 있고, 매리엇호텔 건너편에 위치한다. 

 

History Established in 1979, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre is a professional Canadian theatre company dedicated to the development and presentation of queer theatre. Over the past 30-something years, it has evolved from a small production company into the largest facility-based queer theatre company in the world. The theatre sits in the heart of downtown, adjacent to Toronto's Gay Village, and its primary constituencies are the city's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities, and an urban alternative theatre-loving audience, both LGBT and straight.
