My story part 3 - Dec 8

by 샘터0 2019. 12. 9.

Today, I am home relaxing. I miss my Man B. I love him very much. I went out for brunch with my 2 sisters and their husband and then I went to the Cinema to watch the movie The 2 Popes. Good movie about a conversation between Pope Benedict XVI, occurring before his resignation as Pope in 2012, and the Argentinian Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio who became Pope Francis in 2013. The conversation was about the state of the Catholic Church and the doubts of the 2 men.

Since last week, I began studying Korean. My Love started by showing me the alphabet and the sounds and then I continued with a practical book “Beginner’s Korean” and the Duolingo App. I enjoy learning language and I want to have a base of this complicated language for a latin man.

During the 90’s, gay men usually go to bars or sauna to meet people. In the ontario northern town, where I lived, there were no bar. So we had monthly dances organized by Gay association or AIDS Committee. Over the years, I have met some guys during those events as friends and some of them as occasional lovers. When I was going to Toronto for work, I was going to bars on Church Street and saunas. I met some guys who became regular for a while. one of them became my boyfriend. In 1998, he left his work and moved with me in Sudbury. Not long after that, I was informed that my position was abolished and was lucky to find a new job in Ottawa. So we moved to Ottawa in September 1998. As he did not find work in Sudbury, he was happy to move to a bigger city and he found a job easily. The first years of our relationship were going well. We bought a condo together in 1999 and a bigger one in 2006. I had a good career in the healthcare system. We were travelling at least once a year. After many years, we started to do less and less things together, we were having our own friends and activities. My partner was working night shifts and I was working day shifts. I began travelling for my work across Canada. After 2005, it became easier to meet hookups or FWB with the Apps. So I started meeting guys in Ottawa and across the country. In 2016, our relationship became quite heavy. We both felt bored. And we did not have anymore purpose as a couple. So we decided to terminate the relationship after 18 years. We never had fights along the way but we were not communicating and at the end we did not have sex anymore. I purchased his share of the condo and he moved to a new place.

After that, I continue to meet people hoping to find Mr. Right. I met a guy on line when in Rio de Janeiro and we started dating. I went twice there and he came here once. But I realized that he was a profiter and was looking for a sugar daddy who would take him away from his home. I also dated another Asian guy from Toronto. I have known him for 10 years and we decided to try a relationship. It did not work. In between I was meeting other guys but it ended up mostly in hookups. And then I met my Man B and I am so happy. When I am with him and chat with him, I feel deep down that he is my Mr. Right.
