토론토 국제영화제 2012...

토론토 영화제가 시작되면 어김없이 한국영화를 먼저검색한다. 그런데 이번에 와싱턴에 가있는 주말에 티켓을 팔기시작해서...보고싶었던 "도둑놈" (?) 인가하는 그 영화는 일찌기 마감되어서 물건너갔고... 그중에 남아있는 티켓을 찾아서 영화를 보는걸로 만족해야할듯....

어제는 강이관 감독의 "범죄소년" 이라는 영화를 스코샤뱅크 영화관에서 봤다. 어제는 일을 늦게 시작해서 늦게 끝나는날이라..일끝나고 피터가 나를 픽업해서 영화관 주변 주차장에 주차를 한다음에, 피터가 가져온 도시락을 같이 먹고 영화를 보러 가는걸로 계획되었다. 일끝나고 잽싸게 건물입구에 갔더니 피터가 이미 차에서 대기중...

영화관근처에 싼 주차장에 주차하고는 도시락을 하나씩 들고 같이 먹었다...돈까스랑 탕수육을 그리고 약간의 밥...

피터랑 소풍온 소년들처럼 도시락을 대충먹고는 영화관으로 이동...

들어가기전에 줄을 먼저서서 기다리다가 영화관으로 입장..원하는대로 스크린에 가까운곳에 자리잡은 피터...

영화가 시작하기전에 감독과 주연배우 이정현, 그리고 제작자가 인사차 무대에서 소개하는시간을 만들어주었다. 영화끝나면 질문/대답을 할시간을 준다고 하는데...

범죄소년....이영화가 너무 무겁다.. 일 끝나고 좀 재미있게 볼 영화는 아니다...말하자면 가난한 환경에서 태어나서 그 가난한 환경의 영향아래서 벗어나지못하고 살수밖에 없는 가난의 악순환을 질기게 보여주는 좀 악랄한 영화다. 이소년은 부모가 이혼하고 떠나서, 할아버지와 살고있고....그환경에서 친구들과 어울리다보니 절도,폭행..이런사소한 범죄에 연루되어 살게되는 모습이다. 그래서 소년원에서 지내게되고, 출소하는날...그곳경찰관이 엄마를 찾아서 연락해주어서 생전처음으로 만나게 되는데... 그 엄마도 만만찮은 인생전력을 가진 그 가난의 순환고리속에서 하루하루를 사는사람이었다.  엄마도 17살에 그 아들을 낳았고..아버지가 누군지도 모르는...

아무튼 이영화를 보는동안 무지 답답하기만했다. 저어린 소년이나 소녀들이 세상안에서 버림받으며 살아가는 모습도 그렇고...세상안에서 녹녹하게 녹아들어가 살수있는 어린 소년의 인생도 그렇다.....그리고 혼자사는 엄마의 날품팔이같은 하루의 일상이 그렇다.
