by 샘터0 2022. 10. 27.

Act III

As a thunderstorm breaks, Neris delivers Medea’s gifts to Glauce. Medea plans to kill her two sons to inflict pain on Giasone but can’t bring herself to take their lives. She hears sounds of lamentation inside the palace as Glauce dies an agonizing death, poisoned by Medea’s gifts. She is now determined to complete her vengeance. A crowd gathers outside, and Giasone rushes in, desperately searching for his sons. Medea emerges covered in her children’s blood, and Giasone falls to the ground in despair as the temple is engulfed in flames.
